The incidents of email scams, cyber-attacks, cloning, and phishing is at an all-time high. No one is immune so please be vigilant and take steps to protect yourself and your information. 

Scammers may claim to be Framework Legal PLLC representatives by email or over the phone. If you are suspicious or unsure of an email received by Framework Legal PLLC, please reach out by phone or send an email directly to a staff member or to info@frameworklegal.com.  

• Do not send or wire any money to the caller or in response to an email.
• Do not provide any personal or financial information such as bank accounts, credit card numbers, or social security numbers in any phone or email communication.

Many scam email addresses can look quite real as the senders will often only change one or two letters, which you may not notice. If you aren’t expecting an email from a Framework Legal PLLC staff member, chances are we didn’t send the email. It’s always wise to look at the extension on the email address, look for typographical errors, or incorrect grammar usage – these can all be clues the email is phishing. If you have any doubts or concerns, please take the following steps:

• Contact Framework Legal PLLC regarding the email immediately. 
• Do not open or click on any links or attachments in the email.
• Do not respond to the email at all, provide any personal or confidential information, or send any money in response to the email.
• If your company has an IT department, please ask for their assistance regarding the email’s veracity.
• Permanently delete the message from your email account.

Framework Legal PLLC sends email through Outlook only, we do not use any other web-based email accounts such as gmail.com, hotmail.com, or yahoo.com. Framework Legal PLLC no longer sends faxes to clients either. Neither Framework Legal PLLC or its lawyers or staff accepts any responsibility for the criminal conduct of a third party claiming to use Framework Legal PLLC and/or staff’s name.
